Managed Network Operations Centre - Markham Ontario
GearyTech maintains a Network Operations Centre (NOC) from where we service the majority of our customers. Nearly 90% of all service related activity is now performed remotely, through our NOC. Our support technologies and telephone system are 100% remotely accessible, so our technicians work from our office, from home, or from other remote locations.

Service Reach
The vast majority of our customers are in Southern Ontario. However, our services reach throughout Canada, the United States, Australia, Europe and even India. We service English speaking customers remotely from our NOC, and can put feet on the street in most major cities worldwide through our industry associations and memberships.

Who We Service
Our support services are geared towards companies who either do not have an internal IT department, or who require help supplementing internal technical staff. The bulk of our customers have between 10-75 staff, but we support companies with up to 300 employees. <learn more>

Depth Of Technical Support Services
We are a Managed Services Company. Evolving from the break/fix world several years ago, GearyTech has an extensive toolset to manage customer computers, server and networks. Using highly automated technologies, our management tools report issues to our NOC (typically before they affect you) so they can be resolved without business interruption.

Additionally, our Technical Support Help Desk fields service requests from simple questions about technology through to the toughest, most intense server related problems.

Contracted Services
Most of our customers are on a monthly contract. We have contracts of varying scope designed to keep customer networks secure, functional and accessible at a manageable monthly cost. Our contracted services are designed to help your bottom line by avoiding unexpected "emergency" type service incidents.

Backup and Disaster Recovery
The cornerstone of our Managed Services program is our Backup and Disaster Recovery Service. We back up our customer networks nightly and send the backup off-site to our remote data centre. From there, customer equipment is restored on our tech bench every quarter to prove disaster recoverability. If you are a business owner, read the previous sentence again. In our business, backups are rarely tested and ownership rarely has the peace of mind their business could come back to life in the event of a disaster. GearyTech proves it.

CIO Level Services

GearyTech has access to nearly any product available through distribution. There are a few key products which we implement more than others including Windows and Linux servers, storage servers, VoIP telephone systems, productivity software, desktops and notebooks.
