As an owner of a business with or without an IT staff, what is your knowledge of your systems? Do you know if they are being patched every month? Managed Services begins with the very basics. It covers updating your servers and workstations with the latest patches from Microsoft and other software vendors, covers backing up your servers and critical workstations - and copying that data off-site, and it covers monitoring every device on your network for potential danger (think stormy seas, other ships and rocks).

Patch Management
Under the hood, our automated systems continuously look for software patches for your systems, evaluate whether they are already installed and alert us if not.  We approve or deny patches based on various factors, and can deploy approved patches to all equipment in your network remotely with just a few clicks.

When the patch process is complete, we are notified as to the success or failure of each patch installation.

System Monitoring
GearyTech uses a highly automated set of systems monitoring tools. These tools are like an onboard computer for your computer, reporting back to us on things like hardware and software problems, when you are running out of disk space, how your computer is performing and security related items. In fact, there are nearly a thousand things we can find out about your computer through our tools.

If our systems detect a problem, we are alerted, and we remedy the problem automatically. Our customers are notified of either work about to be done, or when a work order has been completed on their behalf. If you detect a problem - we have a lot to draw on when you call in for support - to get you back up and running quickly!
