Before We Start Designing, We Start Listening
Most companies have had a network or two before they meet us. They have things they like and things they dislike about their previous networks. And they might have new needs. Listening to the customer is first step to designing a great network.

GearyTech has tools to inventory and assess current networks to determine strengths and weaknesses in performance and security. Often it is not necessary to throw out the whole network to make drastic, measurable changes in the network, or to add functionality. Once we understand the current technologies in your business and your strategic direction over the next several years, we will put our experience and industry best practices to work and design a highly usable, reliable, secure and affordable network for you.

Technologies We Specify
Our roots are in Microsoft based networks, but we also utilize both Apple and Linux based systems where required or where it just makes sense. Typically, we use Microsoft based servers and desktop operating systems, and Linux based equipment around the perimeter of the network for some of the "lesser seen" tasks.

As a Microsoft Partner and Microsoft Small Business Specialist, we have access to training, information, product and support second to none to help design and deploy highly functional networks with outstanding reliability.

Through our numerous suppliers, we have access to almost any hardware made. While we most often specify top-tier manufacturers like IBM, HP and Dell, we also have access to "white label" products and will use them where it makes sense.

Deploying Networks
Every network deployment is different, yet has many common elements. Network deployments are projects, and are treated as such. GearyTech has years of experience managing projects, and will start yours with a properly designed project plan. We start from our library of templates, picking one closest to your project, and build out from there, customizing the tasks and timeline to suit the situation.

Everything from ordering equipment, scheduling resources, planning communications to your company, cleaning up your environment pre-deployment to after installation follow up are detailed on our project plan. We involve our customers in the development of the project plan as a confirmation your company's needs are going to be met during transition.

In short, we treat network deployments like heart transplants - all contingencies must be accounted for, as good planning yields good results!

GearyTech offers financing through our leasing partner, Questor Financial. Questor provides competitive rates and creates leases that maximizes benefits for our customers.

We will also work with your bank or leasing company as required, providing quotations and documents in support of your financing.
