Microsoft Windows Servers
Long the foundation of everything corporate, Windows Servers have found solid ground at the SMB level. GearyTech has watched and participated in the Microsoft Windows Server evolution for years and understands where to apply these products to your environment.
The new Microsoft Server 2008 core server has been released, and the Small Business Server (SBS) version will be released in November 2008. At the same time, Microsoft is releasing Essential Business Server (EBS) 2008. While SBS is geared for the 5-75 user crowd, EBS will bring the same set of features to larger organizations with up to 300 users, in a 3 server environment! Both will be winners.
Until then, there still remains great value (and an upgrade path) using the currently released versions...

The appeal of this package has been impressive. The most used feature is of course Exchange, for email management - this email platform is second to none and worth the price of the entire server package alone.
The next most impressive feature is the ability for your staff to log into their PC's remotely (i.e. from home) in a secure and controllable manner. Many of our customers now have staff who work from home, either a few days per week or permanently, and this server system is a great starting point to facilitate remote workers.
